Welcome to the letsstudytogether.co. The much awaited UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) Prelims Exam 2017-18 will be held tomorrow. The UPSC Prelims examination 2017-18 Answer Key for Civil Services Examination will be available soon immediately after the exam.

The official answer key of UPSC 2017-18 will be released by UPSC after final result announcement. The Preliminary examination result of UPSC Civil Services 2017-18 will be announced in July/August 2017. UPSC will be conducting UPSC Civil Services Mains examination on October 28, 2017.

Total questions	180 (100 for paper I and 80 for paper II)
Time duration	120 minutes for each paper (40 extra minutes for Blind and candidates suffering cerebral palsy who are unable to write.
Qualifying criteria	Paper 1 – no minimum marks criteria Paper 2 – 33% qualifying marks

How to calculate scores for UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2017-18:-

Aspirants can calculate their scores with help of UPSC IAS Answer Key 2017 as mentioned below:

Mark scored by candidates in Prelims paper 1 and 2 = total number of correct responses*marks allotted to each question- one-third marks negative marking
In Paper 1 = correct responses out of 100*2 marks – 0.66 marks for each incorrect answer
In Paper 2 = correct responses out of 80*2.5 marks – 0.85 marks for each incorrect answer
Total Marks of Prelims exam = Paper 1 scores + Paper 2 scores out of 400
