Studying

Studying is the very most important in your upcoming high school and this will be where you study, do homework and Reading/assignments and complete schoolwork. Whether it is in your bedroom or on a spare table in the living room, anything will do. If you don’t have a place, ask your parents to get you a desk and suggest an area for proper study. High School is the best time to get one. Also, you will need these items and it is highly recommended as it is not only good study wise but also good for your health.

Prepare yourself mentally for high school

In the high school these are the years during which you will experience considerable emotional, mental and physical growth. It is important to be prepared for the new phase of school life, as well as understanding that the schooling during these years is laying down the foundations for your future, and in many ways, for the remainder of your life.

Must Stay on top of homework

In the middle school, you do have to do your homework in high school. Yes, high school students talk all the time about the homework they don’t do and blah blah blah and , any teachers don’t check your homework because you’re expected to do it. In the high school, your homework becomes your review and study guides in high school; they help you process what you’ve learned. It’s vital that you stay on top of homework because you’re going to have a lot of it. If you don’t do your homework, you’ll end up falling behind, and the game of catch up is not fun to play. So you are advised to do your homework properly and stay on top.

Think positive thoughts

It is also important to think positive thoughts when it comes to high school and study. Thinking negatively isn’t always going to do you any good, or the people around you. Make it count. You will remember high school when you are older, and you don’t want to tell your children embarrassing stories you’ll regret once you are grown up.

Be ready for challenges

High school is Very different. First of all, it’s much more different and serious then middle school. It’s the place where you grow up and become an adult, the final stop before students head out into the real world. And so, there are obviously going to be challenged. Whether it be academically or socially (or both), challenges and obstacles will block your way. You need to overcome, to surpass those that block your way.
